Miranda Hersey Helin, PRINCIPAL

Miranda Hersey Helin has nearly two decades of experience as a professional writer and editor. She ably manages projects, deadlines, and resources.

While Miranda is presently focused on communications consulting for nonprofit clients, she spent many years working with small businesses and subcontracting with business consultants. Her portfolio includes business proposals, marketing materials, and a case study for the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College, which she researched and wrote.

Miranda has served as managing editor for clients in parenting media and academia. She has developed and edited myriad manuscripts ranging from poetry and photography to linguistics and otolaryngology.

When not busy with client projects, Miranda focuses much of her energy on creative projects. She is a creativity coach and is writing a nonfiction book for creative mothers. A Mother's Guide to the Creative Life is a practical handbook for women looking to fulfill their creative dreams while enjoying their families and home life. The book project has given rise to www.studiomothers.com, an online community of creative mothers.

Miranda is also the co-owner of Open Studio, a community gathering and teaching space located at 30B Hollis Street in Groton Center, Massachusetts. Open Studio offers a unique roster of events, workshops, and individual coaching in creativity and life design, with an array of inspiring teachers.
